Celebrating with Gratitude, Growth, and Lessons Learned

Today, Wild Bird Marketing turns six years old, and what a journey it has been! As I sit here reflecting on the past six years, my heart is filled with gratitude—for our clients, for the lessons we’ve learned, for the friends and family who’ve supported us, and for the freedom to work flexibly to craft a life that aligns with our values.

2019 feels like a lifetime ago. Starting Wild Bird Marketing was a leap of faith—equal parts excitement and fear. Would this dream of mine take flight? Could I navigate the unknowns of entrepreneurship? The answers were waiting in the experiences to come. Little did I know, the following years would bring challenges and opportunities that would shape both the business and me as a person.

From the thrill of landing our first clients to navigating the complexities of a global pandemic, the journey has been nothing short of transformative. Two children later, countless lessons, and countless clients, each step has contributed to the story of Wild Bird Marketing.

To every client who has trusted us with their brand and vision, thank you. You’ve allowed us to grow, evolve, and do the work we love. Some partnerships have been a perfect fit—mutually rewarding collaborations that have yielded incredible results. Others, while not a perfect match, have taught us invaluable lessons about alignment, communication, and the importance of shared values. Each experience has helped us refine who we are and who we’re best suited to serve.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible team of superheroes who have worked within Wild Bird Marketing over the years. To every individual who has contributed their talent, passion, and dedication to our mission, thank you. You are the backbone of this business, and your efforts have propelled us to where we are today. The journey wouldn’t have been as rich, impactful, or successful without each and every one of you. This milestone is as much yours as it is ours.

If 2024 taught me anything, it’s this: Never underestimate the value of the lessons life hands you. And, more importantly, do everything in your power not to repeat them! Growth comes from awareness, reflection, and a willingness to change. As the awareness of who we are as a business continues to evolve, so does our understanding of what makes a partnership thrive. Knowing when to say “yes” and, just as importantly, when to say “no” is an art we’re mastering.

As we celebrate six years, my overwhelming emotion is gratitude. Gratitude for the clients who trust us, the team who supports us, the family and friends who cheer us on, and the lessons that have shaped us. Wild Bird Marketing is more than a business; it’s a reflection of dreams, hard work, and the unwavering belief that we can create something meaningful.

With every year that passes, I’m reminded that the journey is just as important as the destination. As we move into the next chapter, I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and serving in ways that align with our values and mission.
